If your child becomes unwell at during pre-school hours, he/she will be made
comfortable, and will have an adult with them at all times. We will contact you immediately so that you may come and collect your child. For this reason it is very important that we have an up to date contact telephone number for you and alternative telephone numbers in the event that we are unable to
contact you.
If your child becomes ill at home, and has vomiting, diarrhoea or an infection,
we ask that you do not bring them to school until 24hrs has elapsed or they have been cleared to return to the pre-school by a doctor. This is to reduce the spread of infection to other children and staff.
We would appreciate it if you could let us know by telephone if your child is
unable to attend pre-school for any reason (07974 995871), and also to inform
us if your child has been diagnosed with a contagious condition so that we can
inform other parents. The following conditions are contagious: Chicken Pox, Conjunctivitis, Croup, Head lice and Nits, Measles, Meningitis,
Mumps, Ringworm, Rubella, Scabies, Thrush, Whooping Cough, Worms, Flu.
Medicines may be administered to children in Pre-school but only with prior
written consent from parents, and only when there is a health reason to do so.
