A voluntary parent committee manages River Pre-school Playgroup. The committee
is elected annually at the Annual General meeting, which is held each
September. All committee members are police checked. The committee is responsible for ensuring that the pre-school runs within the
guidelines set out by Ofsted and to oversee the finances. River Pre-school
Playgroup is a non-profit making organisation and all monies raised at fund raising events are spent solely on new equipment and toys.
The pre-school cannot run without a full committee, so we encourage all parents
to become involved. Please ask the staff for the date of the next committee meeting and let us know
if you would like to become a committee member.
